One month and 4 rewatches later, I wanted to revisit my definitive ranking of all the songs in Inside. My previous ranking was deeply flawed, and now I have returned to correct its mistakes. I have chosen to keep the numbered ranking order, but the songs are now also divided into tiers. If you want reasoning as to why I like or don't like a song, see my original ranking. I will put a sentence or two with a song explaining why it moved up or down, if the change was substantial.
D TIER - Songs that probably aren't worth downloading into your library
20. Unpaid Intern - 4.5/10
19. All Eyes On Me - 5/10
18. All Time Low - 6/10
17. Any Day Now - 6.5/10
Any Day Now is a fun little jingle, but in truth, it's just the credits song, and thus quite bland.
C TIER - Good, not great
16. Bezos II - 7/10
15. Shit - 7/10
14. Problematic - 7.5/10
Discovered the numerous ways this mirrors my own life, also the end is spectacular.
13. 30 - 7.5/10
B TIER - It goes hard, but does not ascend mortality like some others
12. Sexting - 8/10
This one took a hard fall not because I like it less, I just realized that the ones above it were better.
11. Welcome to the Internet - 8/10
It is so incredibly creative and representing of the Internet in a way that makes my brain explode.
10. White Woman's Instagram - 8.5/10
9. FaceTime with my Mom (Tonight) - 8.5/10
A TIER - Some of the greatest songs my ears have experienced
8. Don't Wanna Know - 8.5/10
Failed to understand the pensiveness originally.
7. That Funny Feeling - 9/10
The chorus is awesome, but the verses got boring.
6. Goodbye - 9/10
Hits harder each time I hear it.
5. How the World Works 9/10
S TIER - The epitome of God's creation
4. Bezos I - 9.5/10
3. Comedy - 9.5/10
The vastly different segments of this masterpiece are what give it character.
2. Look Who's Inside Again - 10/10
1. Content - 10/10
Problematic is far better than you give it credit for in my opinion
